Rhonda loves nothing more than a simple walk in the park, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the beautiful gardens.

it’s just that she’s so good at being with people, she spends most of her time doing just that. To everyone’s great pleasure.

Please tell everyone who you are.

My name is Rhonda. I’m a devoted and proud Mum of two wonderful children. I’m very passionate about my work and the great communication with and glow of my clients energises me each day

Is Corporate Massage ‘it’ for you or do you apply your skills in private practice? If yes, how and where?

I do devote quite a bit of time to it! I’ve also been a Volunteer in my Community Health Centre for the past
twelve years, becoming a “Cert IV Fitness Trainer”. This enables me to conduct Strength Training Classes for ‘Seniors’, with emphasis placed on fun to motivate. I am also a qualified Tai Chi and Nordic Walking Instructor.

In addition, I have my own private practice Massage Business ( l9 years), treating various clients,
including looking after residents in high care Nursing Homes.

It takes a special kind of person to work as a touch practitioner. Why do you do it?

I enjoy the” after- glow” and great banter with my clients, being aware that the person I’ve just treated has benefited from my care.

My Dad once said to me many moons ago, “Your Health is the most important thing you can have in your life”. From this insight, I resolved to go into the healing industry. So this began my journey into ‘Allied Health’, achieving my “Diploma of Health, in Remedial Therapies”, then going on to enhance my sports massage, I became a level Two Sports Trainer.

How does what you do every day contribute to the greater good of your community, or thinking big, the planet!?

I just love what I do every day. My intent is to bring goodwill and enhance the sense of
well being of everyone I touch as best I can. And I think this ultimately helps make the world a better place.

And importantly, because you’re a normal (super) human, what is the most normal thing about you?

Relaxing into a recliner at the end of the day, and feeling a gradual wave of sleep take hold as I watch my favourite Netflix shows, with no ads.

But the best is always when my kids visit and we just hang out together.
