Seated Massage is developing a collective of massage professionals and clients - collaborating for a common purpose - to invest in the most effective social and environmental causes specifically those with a focus on women.

We make a living by what we get,
we make a life by what we give.

What we’re doing
Wanting to maximise our collective impact in the world, we’re creating The Massage Collaborative. An easy, efficient and effective way to positively impact people and planet.

This collaborative includes both massage professionals and clients, all of whom realise the value of doing good better, by investing in researched, vetted and highly recommended charities.

We believe it is our duty in business and as individuals to help the most people and do our best for the environment. Our purpose dictates this.

Invest regularly. Invest easily
At Seated Massage, we’ve chosen to invest in the Australian based not for profit, OzHarvest.

OzHarvest rescue fresh food that would otherwise have gone to landfill producing tonnes of greenhouse gases. They take the food rescued to hundreds of shelters and related charities in cities across Australia helping feed Australians in need.

Every dollar invested in OzHarvest provides 2 meals for Australians in need.

Every time we discard good food to landfill, it is literally costing us the earth.

What’s in it for you?

  • The pride of being an early adopter of The Massage Collaborative.
    A founding member.
  • The knowledge that you’re doing what you can to improve the livelihoods of the underserved and mitigate environmental degradation.
  • Understanding that if you’re earning more than $50k per year then you are in the top 5% of the worlds wealthiest people. And that it is up to us 5%-ers to even out the balance.
  • Knowing that your contribution is paid forward 100% to the charity we’ve carefully selected due to it’s transparency, cost effectiveness and impact.

Volunteer – just a few hours per month
If you work an average 38-40 hour week, 2-3 hours a month volunteering will work wonders for your mental health and for the organisation you deem worthwhile of your time. We’re talking about just 1-2% of your working month.

We’re busy, like you! However we still choose to volunteer a minimum 3 hours per week. Not because we have the time. Simply because we enjoy it so much!

In just the second half of 2016 we volunteered a total of 89 hours!

Join with us! Ask us how – it’s easy!
We’d love to answer questions you may have about how you can be involved. Action, no matter how small, can indeed change the world for the better.
