Highlighting – the immensely likeable Kerri McCarron.

A series of posts featuring some of the wonderful massage practitioners who generously provide us and our clients with their warm personalities and deft touch.

The gorgeous Kerri McCarron.

Kerri is everyone’s friend. Everyone seems to like her. Perpetually smiling, she is easy going and nothing is ever too much trouble.

A woman of few words, she doesn’t feel the need to labour the point on any subject and this is reflected in her skill as a massage practitioner as she quickly and without fuss gets to the crux of what needs tending to.

Kerri is a joy to be around and for us to have her represent Seated Massage.

Please tell everyone who you are.

I’m Kerri the ‘aches and pain specialist’. I love the beach, dogs, tropical rainforest, snow fields, essential oils and trampolines. Yes, trampolines!

Is Corporate Massage ‘it’ for you or do you apply your skills in private practice? If yes, how and where?

I mix it up. Private practice for me is at Queen St Pilates Studio in Croydon, Adelaide. I love the change from day to day – corporate massage to seeing clients for longer private sessions.

It takes a special kind of person to work as a touch practitioner. Why do you do it?

The people I am fortunate to massage are truly delighted and grateful I can help them with their headaches, stiff necks, tight shoulders and the multitude of other concerns they present with. It means so much to me that I have helped them and when they say ‘thank you’ I can tell they really mean it. It’s amazing to know I’ve helped eased or completely eradicated someones physical pains and often mental strain.

How does what you do every day contribute to the greater good of your community, or thinking big, the planet!?

Supporting and hiring local service providers and businesses is important to me and my community. To be able to eliminate debilitating stress from everyone’s life I consider to be a big planet goal but if I can help people in my community forget their worries, feel just that little bit better about life and be nicer to others then I’m pretty happy with that.

And very importantly, because you’re a normal (super) human and like to do normal (super) human things too, what is the most normal thing about you?

I love booking in for a massage. I get one every fortnight. Doesn’t everyone? It’s time just for me and I feel oh so good for days after.

We LOVE Kerri’s honest to goodness approach to life. If you’re in Adelaide, do yourself a favour and look her up for a private booking otherwise she might be visiting your workplace soon!
